Project Summary

Extending over a 3 and a half year timeframe in this role I covered 4 states in the Southeastern portion of the United States. I have deployed over 90K devices, products, and services. These include but aren’t limited to smartphones, basic phones, tablets, computers, mobile device managers(MDM), machine to machine(M2M), private networks, fleet management, asset tracking, and encryption services to name a few. These implementations were as a result of over 300 individual projects with business customers of different needs, budgets, business goals, resources, size, level of security, and locations. The only similarity is that they need to communicate better, more efficiently, in a cost effective manner, and to be able to manage these communications as their needs evolve. The projects ranged in size from 10 to 20 end users up to larger ones that were completed for over 1,000 end users. Each of the projects were take through a 3 step process which are outlined below, under the Strategy section:

Strategy

  1. Discover
    1. Meet with the sales team to understand the customer’s pain point and reason for buying the solution
    2. Identify any obstacles that I may face from the Sales Team and Customer’s perspective
  2. Plan
    1. Scope the Project’s

      2. Desired Deployment and Completion Dates
      3. Level of effort
      4. Locations
      5. Create solutions for now obstacles
    2. Review the solution(s) being implemented
      1. Identify any recent issues and/or successes with the product
      2. Identify similar use cases to share with the customers
  3. Execute
    1. Perform the deployment on the agreed upon date
    2. Provide customized training and documentation about the devices, products, or service given to the customer
    3. Perform a 2 week and 90 day follow up with customer to ensure the needs of their business were met and exceeded

Solution and Results

  • Expanded average monthly deployments from 12 to 20
  • 2018 Implementation Deployment Specialist of the Year
  • Increased customer satisfaction with deployments/implementations from 50% to 90%
  • Monthly service on each end user averaging $30, times the 90,000 completed over 3 years totaling an average annual revenue on service of an estimated $3 million
